Project Details:
A two piece set designed to sit together made from English Yew, a difficult timber but one with plenty of character. A wall hung unit has been designed to display a collection of ships in bottles. Sitting below this is a useful hall way table.
I have shaped the front edges by hand to give a stylised rustic look, it is very tactile but this isn’t a natural waney edge. I think the worn in soft shapes work nicely with the boats!
Table size 850mm wide, 290 deep and 780 high.
Wall unit size 580 wide, 120 deep and 980 high.
