Project Details:
This is a solid European Oak living room unit. No MDF or Ply to be found here. The specification was to create a traditionally made unit but giving it a chunky contemporary feel and have a matching standalone unit on the other side of the room.
It easily houses all digital home entertainment systems with ample storage for LP’s, CD’s and books. All eight dovetail drawers are on premium slow closing runners which are a joy to use. Why not turn your storage problem into an elegant and practical piece of furniture that will not need replacing. A guide price for a similar project completely made from prime grade solid Oak would be £16,000.
"It's sometime now since you built and installed our bespoke bookcase complete with cupboards and a stand alone cupboard to match! With the passing of time our enjoyment and pleasure has not diminished, in fact I still get a tingle of excitement when I enter the room! When we first saw your distinctive furniture at Newmarket Art, Craft and Design Fair we were impressed by it's quality and obvious attention to detail, when we looked at your catalogue; we could see they weren't one-offs. I liked the fact you felt the need to see the room the furniture was going into and that it would help if we thought about what we wanted to put in the cupboards. That would effect what shelving/drawers we'd require, you explained. At that point my plans were quite loose! All the planning we put in together plus your advice as a craftsman and professional woodworker when we discussed the idea have proved to be invaluable. Throughout the process, you kept in touch, were able to advise with many alternatives/suggestions and the project evolved. I would say to anyone considering having furniture made, they need look no further than you. Our experience was constructive, friendly and the final work of art, fantastic! Our furniture has been made to last, is functional (It houses my record and CD collection) and looks beautiful! The quality speaks for itself. You're a true Artisan, Brendan. Thanks for a splendid job, well done!"

"PS. If anybody wants to see what can be achieved, I'd be willing to show them your work."
