Based on my previous “Rustic Bench” this bench is also 4ft (1220mm) wide and is a cosy two seater.
Hand made from English Elm and very smooth to the touch (as opposed to an adzed textured finished like the original).
Made without any glue or metal fixings, the boards are held in place with tusk tenons and wooden wedges. Arm rests are housed over the verticals and through dowelled to lock into place, this construction allows the Elm to expand and contract with the seasons. As a bonus, the entire bench comes apart for easy storage!
